Got records to sell?

Bring them to any Hunky Dory shop. We pay you 50% of the shop price, up front. If we price a record at $40, you get $20. This isn’t consignment, so you don’t wait for it to sell.

How it works

Drop off. Hear back. Decide.

  1. Bring them in

    We buy collections of any size, from 1 record to 100,000. Drop yours off at the nearest shop while we’re open, and leave your contact info so we can reach you. Got a basement full? Email us and we’ll come to you.

  2. We go through them

    The owner looks through new drop-offs once a week, so you don’t have to wait around at the counter.

  3. You get an offer

    We price the records, then offer you half of that. We send the offer to the contact info you left. Plan on about a week.

  4. You decide

    Take the offer and get paid. Or pick your records back up, or have us donate them.

Priced fair.

  • Half of retail

    We offer 50% of the shop price. A $40 record means $20 to you.

  • Community pricing

    We check online, community-sourced pricing guides, so the price follows what records really sell for.

  • Condition counts

    We grade the record and the sleeve. Clean copies are worth more, and we price them that way.
